Tell us a little bit about yourself (i.e. where are you from, where’d you go to school, what you do for a living, etc.)
I’m a two term state Rep and the youngest member of the House democratic caucus and I serve as the minority whip. I’m from the #BirthplaceOfChampions where I am proud to represent people who have championed great causes in our community, state, nation and world.
By trade I am a lawyer but my passion is for public health because I believe people succeed best when they are mentally, physically, and emotionally well. I work to advance policies that promote health and well being so people can be their best selves and productive citizens of society.
I am confident that Ohio will be a progressive, inclusive state where people will be proud to raise their families and be a leader in education, wellness, and equity. That’s what keeps me motivated!
Why are you running for this office?
I am dedicated to the community that raised me, and I feel a strong responsibility to ensure that my community is well taken care of.
We need strong leadership across this state and I am happy to provide that for Ohio’s 34th house district.

1) Ensuring quality affordable education for my district and all of Ohio through Medicaid expansion and other innovations that allow people to get the best care at the appropriate place and time.
2) Funding public schools appropriately so that our children have the opportunity to succeed in life.
3) Supporting fair and equitable tax policy so that everyone pays their fair share and the state can carry out our duties to maintain the safety and well- being of Ohio
4) Creating a climate for job growth, fair wages, and equal pay for equal work.
