Why are you running for this office?
Running to retain a council seat I was appointed to in 2017. My goal is to complete the implementation of projects (i.e. business retention and attraction, green space redevelopment) and to help continue the progressive trajectory in which Newburgh Heights has outlined in its masterplan. Additionally, I want to continue to create policies relevant of not just Newburgh Heights, but the region and state; this is particularly important being that if reelected I would be the youngest councilmember by nearly 2 decades. Note: I’m currently the youngest member on council.
What are the most important issues on your campaign?
Newburgh Heights is a small municipality therefore issues such as business retention and creation, residential attraction especially young families and professionals as well as usage of our green space and ensuring diverse representation exists on council as it relates to race, age and experience will be the primary issues of focus during my campaign.
