Tell us a little bit about yourself (i.e. where are you from, where’d you go to school, what you do for a living, etc.)
I’m from the Worthington area and a graduate of Worthington schools and The Ohio State University. I currently serve as the Water Resources Director for the Ohio Environmental Council where I advocate for public policies to ensure our water is clean, safe, and affordable.

Why are you running for this office?
I am running for City Council to give the people of Worthington to have a true seat at the table for major development projects and all city decisions. With this election, our city's future could go in several directions. I have a track record of collaborating with diverse stakeholders, community members, and bringing people together to find solutions that can put Worthington on the right track. I will bring new energy and new ideas to City Council that would benefit the citizens and businesses.

What are the most important issues on your campaign?
I believe Worthington needs more leadership to proactively involve the community in major decisions like development projects. When faced with how to best utilize our limited space, we are obligated to seek what benefits the city long-term and proactively seek community input. Our city has an unfortunate track record of being reactionary to development decisions and not achieving community buy-in and we have to break this cycle to put Worthington on the right track.

Give us a fun fact about yourself.
I was a premiere league flag football champion at Ohio State.

What’s your favorite thing about Ohio?
The diverse landscapes from Lake Erie, to the cities, to farmland, to Appalachia, and to the Ohio River.

Which team is your favorite sports team? If there’s a fun reason why, tell us!
Ohio State’s Football team, I’m a fifth generation Ohio State graduate, scarlet and gray runs in the family.

If you were a professional athlete what song would you choose to be your “walk out” song?
Stone Cold Steve Austin’s entrance song.

What TV show have you binge watched entirely too fast?
The West Wing.

If you were an Olympic athlete, what sport would you compete in?

Most importantly, how can young Dems help in your campaign?Volunteering for canvassing shifts.

Side note: We'll be blunt - campaigns cost money. Even if you're not on the ballot, the people running this November are going to have direct impact on your lives, so we're doing everything we can to make sure this impact starts with Young Dems. Can you chip in $5 to help us fund our campaign?
