Tell us a little bit about yourself (i.e. where are you from, where’d you go to school, what you do for a living, etc.)
I’m an organic apple farmer with my brother Zach - who is here tonight. In addition to that, I work for the United Way of Licking County.  I work primarily as a fundraiser - those dollars, in turn, fund many different social service agencies & programs throughout Licking County and are utilized by tens of thousands of people, many right here in Newark.

Why are you running for this office?
I’m running for Newark City Council to improve lives for everyone - but it’s more than just a job or a personal goal for me - when I ran for the 6th ward seat in 2017, I did it because I believe the citizens of Newark deserve better representation than what we were getting. And I believe that’s still true today.

What are the most important issues on your campaign?
Public safety, Homelessness, Government Transparency, Infrastructure Improvements.

Give us a fun fact about yourself.
I’ve traveled to Nicaragua 14 times on service trips... February 2020 will make the 15th.

What’s your favorite thing about Ohio?
Community. I love the people of Ohio and that feeling that we’re all in this together.

Which team is your favorite sports team? If there’s a fun reason why, tell us!
The Cleveland Cavs!

If you were a professional athlete what song would you choose to be your “walk out” song?
"Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor

What TV show have you binge watched entirely too fast?
The Office... Too many times to count.

If you were an Olympic athlete, what sport would you compete in? Fencing.

Most importantly, how can young Dems help in your campaign?
Donate, Knock Doors, Share Social Media Posts.

Side note: We'll be blunt - campaigns cost money. Even if you're not on the ballot, the people running this November are going to have direct impact on your lives, so we're doing everything we can to make sure this impact starts with Young Dems. Can you chip in $5 to help us fund our campaign?
