Why are you running? To help keep our most basic promise: no matter where you’re from you get a decent chance to find good work, earn a living, and build up financial security.

What are the most important issues on your campaign?   Making investments that improve our chances to get ahead:

  • Put people to work on infrastructure. High wage high skill workers could be on the job all over the state improving the things we all use.
  • Expand education options. Develop paths to pick up a modern skilled trade that demands high wages in the regional economy while avoiding crushing student loan debt. Rely on our network of community colleges and technical schools to facilitate this.
  • Take action on drugs and addiction. Improve treatment, look at prescription incentives, and control highly addictive unused prescription drugs.

Give us a fun fact about yourself. I’ll give you three: I was lead singer in a soul cover band called “The Dads.” I won first place in a “wild cow milking competition.” I drove an old school bus, that I made fuel for, when I interned on Governor Strickland’s 2010 re-election campaign.

Who is your favorite president? Why? Teddy. He wasn’t afraid to go toe-to-toe with monumental powers when regular people needed it most.

What’s your favorite food on the campaign trail? Why? Fair food! Specifically fried cheese on a stick….. Oh man.

If you could be a superhero, who would you be? Why? President Obama! He took all the flak in the world, kept calm, and made progress for people.

If you were a professional athlete what song would you choose to be your “walk out” song? “Back in Black” by AC/DC

What was your first paid job? Farming corn and sunflowers for a neighbor that made wildlife feed.

How can young dems help in your race? Join up as an intern! It’s 15 hours a week, you get first hand campaign experience, and great references. We can’t do it without you![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
